Abstract

Vitaliy Turenko's monograph is a significant contribution to the modern new field of classical reception studies not only in Ukraine but also in the world. It is a kind of 600-page vademecum into the history of the formation of European political and legal thought and the foundations of our civilizational continuum. The book is interesting and even necessary for a wide range of specialists: philosophers, political scientists, lawyers, historians, classical philologists and cultural studies. We congratulate the author, Vitaliy Turenko, on his new scientific achievement, and the Dukh i Litera Publishing House on its new intellectual publication.
